Ticket To Ride FAIL...

Last night I played the Big Game of the original Ticket To Ride with two new people and my partner.  I ended the game with 4 major east coast-west coast tickets.  Unfortunately in 5 turns, I was never able to get a blue card or a locomotive to connect Santa Fe to Oklahoma City.  My final score: -3.  Ugh.

    Seriously, negative? LOL

    But 5 turns? That hardly seems worth the effort. How come the game was so short?

    Nice choice of game... I bought it 2 days ago as my first "German" board game ever (even though it is French, "les Aventuriers du Rail"). My thanks to you that your procrastination lessons to me are paying off :)
